Tanzania African Safari Reunion Images
This particular Tanzania African safari was slated to be a reunion safari just two years after my first safari with Safari Kay. Although we went to some of the same places.
We ended up having a reunion with the same people in the mobile camps of CC Africa. It is now renamed And Beyond. This was a completely new adventure for all of us. Here are some iImages of my Reunion Tanzania African Safari
You should know that each safari is different, even if you are visiting the exact same area. There are different animals you’ll see, there is a rainy season, in the winter it is bone chilling temperatures in the higher elevations, and then there is the famous migration of the wildebeests with the zebras right along near them. Here are some images of that African safari.
We Started from Lake Elsinore and Corona California
My wife Laureta, and I started from Lake Elsinore here in Southern California… This is the back of our house (Charles & Laureta – AKA Mama Tembo) and part of the back yard.

The whole group actually started here at Safari Kay’s house (below) in Corona, CA, 30 miles north of Lake Elsinore. This is her house below. Actually Mama Tembo and I drove to Kay’s house (30 minutes away) and left from there. We took a shuttle (a van) that drove us to the airport in Los Angeles. Los Angeles International Airport is about 70 – 80 miles away from Kay’s or my house.
Here is the best aerial image of the Serengeti from Google Earth. There is no clear closeup view.
We ended up here in the Serengeti
I have only put a few images on a page, for faster page loading, in case you have a slow internet connection.
Here are are some more views of our homes (administrator’s home, Kay’s home) from different locations.
